The 99.2 cc 4 stroke engine of Platina takes out 8.2 BHP of power @ 7500 RPM and Torque around 8.5 nm at 4500 rpm. It has constant mesh transmission which is smooth and gives good experience to rider. The bike is capable to give Mileage  around 90 kmpl on highways which is really impressive. The exhaus-tec technology from Bajaj also improves the mileage of bike by reducing use of clutch and gears.
